I am just trying to clarify from the information I have gathered on this site. From my understanding if I do get accepted to the Coast Guard, go to basic, go to first station, go to IT "A" school, I can then apply to be stationed at an MSST. I am just looking for correction if I am wrong, and also do they have any IT's stationed at MSST's? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
You might be able to go to a TACTLET. One of the IT's I went to A school with went to one. It wasn't for IT support it was being "out of rate" doing LE in the Carib on deployments aboard Navy ships.
