Buy any authorized knife. There is no need for the latest tactical equipment at these units. If it cuts and doesn't rust it will work fine.

2NSANE- I helped get those Paraclete vest. I think they work well and serve our need. Just T&E'ed dragonskin the other week, not a good vest for our mission. So paraclete can stay! Big Grin

That is the lamest thing I have ever heard. Most of us waterside guys could care less. The only guys we have that are jealous are the ones right out of "A" school that want to go FP but are stuck waterside. Been there done that and got the T-shirt. Most of us just want to drive our boats and do our mission.

I have always been a Fan of Myerchin. Great all-around knife and rugged as all hell.

most is the part that offends me. How about a minor few. Because aproximately 90% of waterside team 10 doesn't want your job. the remaining 10% are boots out of "A" school. How about I say MOST FP guys are full of them-selves and think they are some super tactical SWAT Ninjas? Pretty offensive I would think. I am glad the Guys hear at Team 10 are level headed and know that each detatchment has their mission and purpose. Come to think of it I would say we are a great Team.

FP Is the Force protection side of the MSST that does all the deepdraft boardings, POS Control boardings, Onboard ferries, and verious other LE jobs.

Waterside operates the Response Boats conducting escorts, PWCS Patrols, Mom and Pop Boardings, and also delivery of FP personel to target platforms. along with SAR
