Good morning all, i am prior service CG and a HS, Now a paramedic for the Detroit Fire Dept, and i keep in touch from time to time and was wondering what or how active a roll the HS rate plays in the MSST detachment. Are they more of a suport resource or do they play an active roll "in the trenches" so to speak?

The HS on a MSST team are "tactical HS" and they are active with MLE/FP. However, it all depends on the MSST on how "active" they are. Maybe there is an HS that is attached to a MSST team that could shed more light on their roles and responsibilities.
