What is the average days away from home for a fully qualified DAS member? How about the CBRNE section? What is the average time taken to get qualled in the previous mentioned sections? I don't think OPSEC should affect any responses, but if so I apologize.

BTDT, you forgot the "IF" you get qual'd. People considering this unit should understand that qualification is NOT guaranteed. Prepare yourself accordingly.
Also, he didn't ask for the "exact time frame", he asked for average. Probably not an opsec violation.
The average time frame is totally dependent upon when the new member arrives at the unit, what "department" they are assigned to, training schedules, individual readiness and aptitude, etc. Could be months, could be more. Good Luck.
