Often I wonder.....what would happen if a conflict came to our US soil? ANd then I am reassured when I think back to something I witnessed not too long ago. I attended the 2007 Pepsi 400 Nascar Race in Daytona Florida. The announcer asked all people that were veterans of any of the armed services to please stand up. I would dare to say that at least 1/3rd of the crowd stood. The cold chills ran down my spine as i leaned to a friend that was with me and said....."God help the individuals that ever try to invade this land." We should be proud of a nation where we have as many people as we do, willing to defend the country. Oh and funny thing.....through most of this political race......i havent heard too many negative comments about the NRA.....go figure!
