I've watched the clip a few times (and others relating to the usual banter on The View via www.youtube.com)....In actual fact, Rosie NEVER specifically used the term as such, her question was 'Who are the terrorists....?" and unless my old brain is failing me (always a possibility!)this reference would be aimed at BUSH & His Merry Men and not specifically at the frontline troops. Yes, granted they are the ones who have to carry out orders but her anger and frustration have not been targeted DIRECTLY at them.
Folk like Scarborough, as USAF 76/2/80, correctly pointed out, is a commentary segment and NOT verbatum news, the two must not be confused. He is NOT qualified to do this, again it's all about program ratings and more propaganda for the BUSH administration. O'Reilly (Pandora's Box just exploded!) is a brilliant example of a dithering individual who ought to take up gardening and leave politics alone, he is truly the epitomy of why the rest of the world question Americans in general. Useless and thrives on his ignorance and stupidity.
I do not appreciate anyone on TV who uses any subject,as some presenters do, to gain from program ratings. I do not agree with all that Rosie has to say, I do not agree that she is stupid, I think far from it. The reason many jump on her case is because she is outspoken and granted, can be incredibly vocal at times, but ultimately she is passionate about what is happening to America and she wants ANSWERS and unless folk like Rosie cause a stir, the government will not give answers. Tsk,tsk..... what a surprise.
I do believe that Rosie has put forth some VERY interesting questions during her tenure on The View and Elizabeth has not once given sound answers, instead she quotes lines from the "Bush Admin propaganda guide book" As I have said before we're all enitiled to an opinion, that's the beauty of the US of A however, here's food for thought, why are so many members of the Bush Administration undergoing investigation? When it came to Clinton, no big fan of his either, but I most definitely prefer his approach, unlike the present loose canon ball we have on board & call president.
Ultimately, it is our sons, daughters, husbands, wives,our loved ones on the front line. They are the real reason I spare many a thought for them on daily basis. People can argue and point out that they opted to join the military, well,nobody is disputing that fact. However, WHY should so many lives be lost due to the incompetantcy of our government, in my eyes, that is exactly what it boils down to.
Explain that to the families who have lost their 18,19,20,21 year olds.......where are the Bush Admin kids.....partying somewhere with bodyguards looking over their shoulders !
God bless the troops and may those who have lost their loved ones, find strength along the way to carry on.

She is gone now. And that is it! I am glad. I would lke to see a few more of those so called Hollywood anti-war and anti-american so called actors go with Rosie. Sean Penn is another one that needs to go.
