Ok, maybe it's just me being a RM/TC and all, but doesn't the racing stripe look just a little too wide? I mean, why not just paint the whole bow red and be done with it. And no, I don't think it's a good looking ship, just like I never thought the 270's were either. But thats JMO.. When means nothing..

Kimberly:
We've included some of this video (actually from two angles) in our video on the Bertholf. We were especially pleased last night to find out that the Coast Guard is actually linking to our video from their acquisitions page. That was a surprise! If you haven't seen it, you can watch the video here: Bertholf Video Tam The Coast Guard Channel |

TC1 - stripe is not too wide...emblem is largest size made (WHEC size) and just makes the bow look "overpainted". Also, the flare of the bow can make it look misleading. It is a VERY good looking ship, inside and out. It's a fun ride. I would pay money to ride it.

Can you land a 60 on her or are they still restricted to 65's? The flight deck looks as big as an FFG's so it would seem possible.
