No one ever believed us when we came home reporting what we saw over there. Kids that were tortured, and mutilated. Kids with bombs strapped to their chests so they can go to heaven with the 40 Virgins that they will stare at for etenity. They think its so great what they are doing. I saw lets just shoot them all and ask questions later. Sorry i have a lot of pent up frustration when it comes to these sorry SOB'S. RED, WHITE AND BLUE, THESE COLORS NEVER RUN!!!

Amen!! Let me just say this. I've got 4 months left on my deployment here in Baghdad and I never thought I'd see the s**t that I have seen.

As far as these people that think we shouldn't torture or not ,all I'm gonna say is this. When you see your buddy get literally blown apart by an EFP that cuts through the armor on a 12,000lb. hummvee and you have to go in and clean out the muscle, bone, body parts(i.e. eyeballs, fingers, feet) and blood nad realize he was 2 weeks from going home to his wife and his daughter and he was expecting another son in a month, you'll think twice about wanting to f*** these little bastards up to.

WATERBOARDING IS NOT TORTURE!!!!!
IEDS/EFPS ARE!!!

I'll take waterboarding anytime over and electric bed, my balls cut off and then be slaughtered most grotesquely.

Any out cry from Congress on that subject?

By the way I am a liberal but not a milk toast sod like most of them turned out.

Curse

So I guess if "they" do it, it's O.K. for us to do it?
Look get one thing straight, water boarding is torture and has been illegal for SIX PLUS DECADES! The United States prosecuted and imprisoned and executed Imperial Japanese and Nazi Germans FOR DOING WHAT YOU NOW ADVOCATE!
Information gained by torture is not reliable and you have to wait till that person is able to speak again, after you tortured him.
Chemical interrogation is not illegal, gains more reliable intelligence AND you don't have to wait till someone is out of a coma to verify the data. That type of garbage, torture, has no place in the U.S. military or intelligence community...

You post no data, only a supposed name and rank and then you claim to be in BAGHDAD?
Maybe, but until you post more data, any data, expect to be considered "highly suspect" in what you post...

O.K., so I gotta ask, what the freak has the above got to do with what we are talking about?
What "they" do, has nothing with the laws of war and yes there are laws of war, that we must obey.
Break those laws and watch what will happen to your azz, you will be brought up on charges and if found guilty, you will be punished, as a court martial may direct...

I looked him up and there is an E-4 by that name with the same middle initial that is in the South Carolina National Guard, now judging by the SC in his screen name I'd say he's legit. As to whether or not he's in Baghdad, well I'll take his word for it.

Torture is not acceptable but there is a big difference between blood and water

There is a big difference between shoplifting and armed robbery, but that doesn't stop shoplifting from being theft, or make it acceptable. Cool

Sorry it took so long to get back.. familial obs.. Anyway, laws are created by nimrods or committees of Nimrods thinking for the rest of us. They are capricious, arbitrary, and are legit only by fiat. Just like paper money.. You say waterboarding has been illegal for 6 decades, and was leveled against the germans and japanese. Sounds like some overambitious short sighted guys that wanted to 'pile on' got it wrong. We gotta respect the laws, just like when dueling was legal and we hung people for theft. Doesn't mean we have to agree with them is all I'm sayin, and while you can argue to hell & back if waterboarding or sleep dep. or exposure is excessive or cruel that's all subjective. Balls never growin' back however is absolute and non-negotiable.

Do you know what OPSEC is? It's Operational Security. It means there are some things I can't say over the internet b/c the enemy might be reading this. Maybe your one of them. Just like you don't know whether or not I'm over here, how do I know you not a terrorist in hididng? Can you provide some more data? Even if you do, I can't. I know you may not beleive me, but that's fine. But I will say, I'm deeply offende that you don't beleive me. It's too bad you couldn't see all the tears me and my wife and parents have cried. It's too bad that you couldn't know what it feels like to hear your three year old son say, "Mommy, daddy's not coming home," b/c all you can do is tell him to just wait a little bit longer. You have a lot of nerve. By the way this reply is a courtesy to all the others on this thread since I have nothing to prove to you. I know where I'm at. And as far as providing no data, I didn't want to, other than try and let you know that when you see a friend blown up by these bastards, deep down inside, no matter how humane you are or peaceful a person you are, you still want to take revenge and do something that others that have never seen combat can't understand. Have you ever seen a person blow apart right in front of you? Do you know what war is like? This is why it must be avoided at all costs. It shows how brutal man can be to each other.

My purpose isn't to defend torture or anything, it's to help those that don't know, realize that when you see these things that they do to us, you'll think twicw about it too.

You'll get to enjoy your kids, I don't know if you have or what your situatiuon is, but he won't.

What did I tell you, "secret squirrel".
Then the personal attack, oh pity me, my kiddies, my wife, then call me a spy, you have no freaking class poser, try all of it again, but this time wrap your posing self in the flag more...
The people on the boards have seen your type before and those that haven't, just did...
Now I suppose you're gonna tell us about all the death and destruction you've seen. Here's a hint for you, those that have actually seen it and been in it, don't walk around spewing how tough they are and what blood and gore they've seen.
The truth is, those that have been there and done that, don't talk about it, because it brings back too many painful memories. They would never cheapen their families by trying to get sympathy by using them to get people to feel sorry for you. That's what gave you away, now you know how the rest of know about you...

So much for OPSEC HUH!
No sympathy? Everyone on here can see that one, to late to deny it.
You can claim to be anywhere and do anything, still don't make it true. Like I said, those that have been there and done that, don't talk about it and oh, the military computer systems now automatically sensor, especially those in Iraq, OPSEC you know...

The truth is, those that have been there and done that, don't talk about it, because it brings back too many painful memories. They would never cheapen their families by trying to get sympathy by using them to get people to feel sorry for you. That's what gave you away, now you know how the rest of know about you...
Respectfully, SUNLINER81

You disgust me! How dare you sit there and tell me I've never seen combat! If I wouldn't get censored off this thread I'd tell you what I really think of you. You want my info. Fine. Here it is. I'm stationed at FOB Sheild in Baghdad. I'm an MP with the 132nd MP Co. out of West Columbia, SC. I'm an E-4/Spc. Some nearby FOB's are Loyalty, Rustamiyah, the Green Zone/IZ(International Zone), BIAP(Baghdad Int'l Airport isn't too far away to the south west with Camp Liberty. we're working with A Co. and C Co. 1/504 PIR 82d ABN Div. What more do you want to know? Just let me know. F*** OPSEC. This is personal.

By the way, I suggest you go back and re-read my posts b/c I'm not trying to get sympathy ,moron.

When I get home, give me some way of getting in contact with you and I'll show you my 214.

Respectfully, SUNLINER81

First of all, if people who have been there done that don't talk about their experiences, how do you explain all the vets that have come home and written books about them? So that's a bunch of BS. By the way, I don't talk about all my experiences b/c I can't explain it.

Second, what about my offer? When I get home, somehow, I'll show you a copy of my 214.

By the way, why have you been so skeptical of me from the very beginning. What did I ever do to you to deserve this?
