Yeah, but what about all those queers trying to get married. Don't you think government should step in and protect you from becoming a queer?

You going to let those guys turn you into a ******? It's a job for government, ain't it? I mean if we let them get away with that aren't they going to convert all the guys into dress wearing wimps, and all the woman into pants wearing *****?

Don't you think government should save us from that horrible fate?

Lord, I tremble at the the thought of my voice changing into a falsetto. What will my dog think?

Phew, and I though you supported the Constitutional amendment to ban Gay marriage.

Takes a load off my mind here. Glad to see you disagree with Bush on this... Big Grin

I also disagree with his immigration policy, his growing the federal government and the "no child left behind act" too!
I am not a lock-step Republican, however, their agenda fits mine more than the Demokrats/Victokrats!

I consider myself a Republitarian!

1 I am an American and an American Soldier.
2 I am in good health and have a great family!
3 I am supportive of my country's laws, Constitution which makes this country GREAT!
5 I am not rich, monetary wise, however, God has given me common sense and my country has provided me with opportunities.
Lastly, it' comforting to know that liberals are relatively small in numbers!!!!

That's because the link you posted, links to this thread. You're using circular reasoining with a vengence! Big Grin

No wonder your happy!

Dave

AIRBORNE: If you are truly supportive of your country's law and Constitution, then you must despise Bush, Cheney and gang who flagrantly violate the laws of this country. It was Bush who said that "the Constitution is just a God___ piece of paper". Also, I'm curious as to how you define "common sense" that you profess to have? How do you know that God has "issued" you "common sense"? Finally, how do define "liberal" versus "conservative"? Is it possible for one to be "liberal" in some respects and "conservative" in others, or is it a purely black-and-white issue? As USAF_76_2_80 so aptly stated "Ignorance is bliss".

Brilliant comeback Dennis! I should have known better than to question your "common sense". BTW, I missed the hippie scene. In 1968, I was serving in Germany as a Russian language interrogator during my 10th year of active duty in the Army. 1968 was the year that the Soviet Army invaded Czechoslovakia - but I doubt that you know anything about that. Before 1968 I was busy serving multiple tours of duty in Korea, Germany and Vietnam. I bet those ROTC students at USC get some good laughs at your expense. Do you baffle them with your good ole right wing common sense?

I keep forgetting that Airborne has the saving grace of having a Libertarian streak. Big Grin

If a tree falls in a forest and lands on a politician, even if you can't hear the tree or the screams, I'll bet you'd at least hear the applause.

Airborne, despite our many disagreements, is not the sort of person that would besmirch any group he chose to associate himself with. If anything, Libertarians might besmirch him. Cool
