Pakistan Officials Warn U.S.: Keep Out
http://www.military.com/NewsContent/0,13319,159484,00.html

We just might, if THEY get off their asses and do the job themselves...which they seem not to care to do.

So, all the statements by the administration, or the NY Times, or even Hillary? All good - if they assert pressure on Pakistan to find the bastards that are trying to take over Pakistan and/or use it as a base of operations, which Al Queda and the Taliban are BOTH now doing.

Oh and then there is that crazy tall guy in jammies they might just TRY to find (as if they don't know where he is already) and then HANG.

There goes the NY Times, Trying to sabotage any future efforts by the CIA before they might even have a chance of being implemented.Free Press , does not give the Times the right ot undermine tactics or policy during a time of war. They are giveing Aid an Comfort to the enemy. When is the irresponsible media going to wise up? Will they be satisfied when their efforts allow a Terrorist to Blow up a Good part of a large City or will that help them sell more papers?

Even if the United States were to launch regular or covert opertations within the Pakistan border, it would do little to staunch the attack of the Muslim radicals against the West. If you kill one or two today, they will be replaced before the sun goes down. They have a fundamental belief that the United States is evil and have taken a religious vow to remove us from the face of the earth.

The answer lies in our behavior, not trying to kill all the terorists. The United States has adopted a behavior that includes meddling with other nations internal politics and operations. We would not tolerate any other nation meddling with our policies, yet we do it all the time to others. The behavior of the United States is our real enemy, not so much Al Quaeda and the Muslim radicals. The sooner we quit trying to control the rest of the world, the sooner our problems will leasen.

Yep Retrop, you're right there. The main question has to be: Why do so many people in the rest of the world hate, loathe and despise the United States? How did we manage to move from being the most admired and respected country in the world to something that most of the rest of the world loves to hate? Now if we could get answers to those questions, we might be able to do something to reverse it, but it will be a long haul. However RT, that last one will get you hate mail by the sack load. Though you are right. Smile

LOL... ever hear of LOBYISTS? Didn't China meddle in our policies during Clinton's administration (as well as steal all our nuclear secrets)?

If you can't understand meddling then don't get into politics. Making such comments only displays ignorance.

Maybe now all those illegal aliens will leave this most hated country. (Fat chance!)

Good for the Pakistani's! They have the same f**ked up border problems we do. Maybe we should clean up our own house first before telling others how to clean up theirs!! Stupid statements from Clinton only prove she's incapable of handling foreign affairs. Too bad the best and brightest never seek office!

Feel this quote is funny, as far one can find such funny:

Quote: "Military spokesman Arshad also dismissed comments from White House hopeful Hillary Clinton that she would propose a joint U.S.-British team to oversee the security of Pakistan's nuclear arsenal if she was elected president."

How Ms. Hillary wants achieve to "oversee" ? By military means, an invasion into Pakistan then ? Would she again disown later, if it would not work out as promised ?

And whom she wants to blame then ? If she would be POTUS, she would have to blame it on herself.
Naa, never will happen. Neither the first nor the latter.
Such statements are promising failure in elections race.

Oh I don't know. People will do anything, and live anywhere, for more money than they have now.
Your illegal alien problem is brought about by the relative disparity in income across your border, not because of love.

So then, since she said the same things the administration says, then they are all ... what?

Well I won't move overseas, yet I know I could make tons more money in my chosen field, in fact I have been offered several opportunities in the last 20 years to do exactly that.

But then I have been overseas. I like it here.

I think that the unique opportunities we offer as a nation draw people much more than the thought that "I'm going to get rich picking those heads of Lettuce"... ???

Maybe we should have the CIA/FBI smash all the presses, put all the editors in some secret prison. Not let the American people know whats going on in the world, install Bush as supreme leader and live happily ever after. Yea, thats it , we can follow Russia's lead. Roll Eyes

It's six one way and half a dozen the other.
In Iraq they say they want us out so they can run things themselves, but in Afghanistan they claim the problems with alqueda is our fault, because after the war with Russia we did not send money and troops to rebuild the government!
Somebody needs to remember that these people attacked us on our soil.
Pakistan is not our friend. They only say what they think we want to hear, in order to keep us doing their bidding. That whole part of the world, are nothing more than a bunch of warlords trying to be in power and will tell us false info to get us to attack their enemies for them, and then when they get in power, they tell us to get lost.
To them we are just a bunch of thugs getting paid in oil, and if we say anything they cut back on the supply. That is why oil is $100.00 per barrel.
In my opinion, we need to quit running politically correct wars, in which we sacrifice our troops and blow up sum buildings and expect things to change.
We have fought two wars there and still face the same problems; we need to kill enough of the people over there to teach them to leave us alone. We did not have these kinds of problems with Japan or Germany. The solution to Pakistanis nuke problem is, if in doubt blow it up over there before they blow it up over here!
The ultimate goal would be to find an energy source that would allow us to quit buying oil, and take away any reasons for us to be concerned with them at all.
If it weren’t for oil we would not allow them to leave that part of the world and deny all travel to the U.S. We need an oil for food program, every time they cut back on oil we should cut back on food.
one loaf of bread cost two barrles of oil.

And thank goodness for the NYT. Getting the word out such an act was being considered has blunted another idiotic action by this administration. And don't think India's ears didn't perk up when they heard the news. But what the hell, we may as well get the entire middle-east and parts of central south-east Asia in to the game. Let's hope this arrogant administration doesn't do more harm to our Country before it leaves office...like military action inside of Pakistan.

NO actually, a group of whack-jobs from Saudi-Arabia attacked us on our soil.

What needs to happen is to find these anonomous scources and put them in some prison. Information on secret operations does not belong on the front page of the NY Times, it only helps people like Osama, who by all reports spends a lot of time watching TV in order to glean information.
