30 day warning: thread disruption Nemesis 2 feb 09![]() |

The British Parliament has voted to remove the Iranian resistance group Mujaheddin e Khalk (People's Mojaheddin Organization of Iran) as a world terror organization. The EU will be encouraged to do the same. The US never had any problems with the freedom fighters, who, among other things, provide useful information on the state of Iran's nuclear capabilities. |

Yup, those are "good terrorists".
Who cares if they off government officials, it doesn't effect us! |

Can't say I stay too current with politics in the UK...who knows? All I know is that this is more of the same foreign policy that has gotten us bogged down in the craphole that is the Mid East over the past 30 years...and it's painfully obvious. |

It more likely had something to do with Hebrews and Baha'i. As Goarmy06 says, those terrorists are 'good guys' - they're like Miami Cubans. |

LOL! It's a hall of mirrors. When will we ever learn!
I am reminded of another freedom fighter we supported clandestinely in getting rid of an occupational force. We provided money, guns and advisors. He pledged loyalty to the United States and said we were great friends, great allies and like members of his family. However, just as one occupational force was removed, another took its place. This time we balked giving any support because the new occupational force was one of our allies. Didn't matter, he was successful at getting rid of that occupational force as well. However, he did it with the help of a certain regime we didn't very much approve of. That's when we stepped in and declared him a threat to US interests. If you haven't figured it out by now, I'm referring to Ho Chi Minh. Not trying to justify anything here nor am I trying to take any sides. Just pointing out that today's friend and good buddy can easily turn out to be tomorrow's sworn enemy. We should take heed before removing anyone from our terrorist sh*t list. |

This reminds of of supporting the Mujahaideen in Afghanistan in the 80s or Saddam during the Iran-Iraq war...both of those went real well for us.

How about the ex-contra turned AQ who caused all that trouble in Lebanon last summer. That didn't go too well either. |
