Really he's just making a power play and the NY GOP shouldnt have anything to do with him.
I would say that at least 1 on them tried to stand but was pulled down, so at least he knew it was wrong to sit through it. The rest of the Dems likely have little in the way of Scruples.

Oh, and Republican Bloomberg is an ***hole as well. Thinks he can buy his way into a third term because he cut a deal with the dems on the City Council to ignore Term Limits voted in twice by the electorate.
