Machine politics in Chcago is no monopoly of Democrats. Big Bill Thompson, in case you forget, was a Republican.

But there have ALWAYS been opponenents of the machine.

Back on topic. I wasn't aware that either Putin or Obama were Gay. Why did Putin reject Obama? Didn't like his taste in clothing? Some sort of secret spat that we are not privy too?

Russia is letting us use their airspace to move stuff into A-stan and that's a new development. The missiles Pooty is upset about are just to put a stick in his eye and really don't give us that much. We can move them and get even more. President Obama was smart to leave them as a bargaining chip. He'll do OK.

Perhaps Newsweek or Time will scoop People Magazine and run a side by side comparison of Obama and Putin in bathing suits...

How can you tell communism is desd in Russia? Putin would have asked, "So tell me comrade, how does this community organizing work?" Big Grin

But if Putin starts asking about Obama's "5 year plan" we are in trouble. Eek

This was a good move. How long this will last is anybody's question. Putin is up to something though...

Maybe Putin gives us that so he'll have some more leverage. It's a big game of chess.
