This is one hell of a story. The Air Force comes to Sudan to pick up a U.S. military observer. Thinking that they saw Sudanese aircraft getting loaded with bombs (to be used against their own citizens), the Sudanese surround the planes, threaten to execute the crew on espionage charges, rape the women and sell them into slavery. They back down only after another U.S. military observer told the Sudanese that they can except war with the U.S. if the planes or its crew is touched. crazy stuff.
