News12New Jersey just announced that Republican candidate for governor, Chris Christie has beaten incumbent Democrat Governor Corzine. This is the first Republican elected governor in 12 years.

Despite multiple apperances by President Obama, VP Biden, former President Clinton & other Democrat big wigs, the people of New Jersey said NO to the former Goldman-Sachs billionare. Corzine had out spent Christie 3 to 1, all to no avail.

Virginia & NJ now have Republican governor elects. We are seeing a preview of 2010.

I'm sure CNN will be added to the WH hit list alongside FoxNews if they said that. Maybe the driveby news media is starting to abandon a sinking ship.

That was the key. It was the Independents and borderline Republicans that went for Obama. They feel they were betrayed and are now righting a wrong.

The usual crowd is on another thread crowing about the "win" in NY-23, it's the one that counted, according to them, nothing else really mattered...

....I'm left wondering if he was thinking of the troops dying on his dime of dithering then and also I wonder how much time he will spend unfocused on the job of the Office during the next election cycle while he stumps the country for salvation ....????

... and Obama wakes up this morning .. and he's still the President (for the next 7 yrs and 2 months), then Democrats won another congressional seat (where it counts), the Republicans are claiming victory (in a state race that couldn't count less) .... Advantage .... Democrats!!!!!
