Trying this kid must be very stressful, this will be his third or fourth Judge.

Either that, or the judges they've appointed have had no great understanding of the concept of 'justis'.

A slam dunk has turned into a dog's breakfast. And it looks like the kid might win!

That doesn't mean he'd be freed.

That's 'justis'.

First, you have no idea of what "justis" is, being a Canadian eh...
Second, this should not be a military tribunal, it should be tried in civil court and any evidence of torture should be reported and should be cause to dismiss the prosecutions charges as any testimony attained under torture, should be considered suspect at best. Time to let the American system do the job. The whole idea of "tribunals", is ridiculous. If the person is a POW, then they should be retained till the end of hostilities and should have International Red Cross inspections. Prove once and for all, that the U.S. either doesn't torture and if we do or have, then those that did it must be brought to J-U-S-T-I-C-E in the United States and in the eyes of the world.
We don't need some drifty Canadian telling us how to do it, eh?...
Respectfully, SUNLINER81

I agree with your post 100 percent, but I'm not going to join the Anti Popsig part of it. He's free to comment on ANY question, and certainly justified in commenting on the fate of a Canadian Citizen.

The only problem that I have with Pops is, he's always so d-mned negative and looking for a way to slam the U.S. and that is the problem I find with most, if not all, of his posts...

Starting to like you Sundowner. Must be the summer effect, you're starting to think like 'Johnny Canuck'.

Maybe you could explain what "justis" is, cause it don't bear much resemblance to justice.

First, you keep trying to fit all of us "Americans" into some sort of a cookie cutter and judge us that way. We have a different form of government than you do and eventually, all us poor dumb Americans do get it all worked out...
YOU just have a tendency to pizz me off, by your stereotypical attitude about us...
