Please government, tap my phones, read my emails, put a chip in me and monitor where im going all the time, so I can be safe. I would hate for the scary brown people to come and hurt me.
Sorry but you either have to accept some danger with living in a free country, or you can live in a not so free country. I'll pick the free one. |

There are six million Muslims in America, most of them native born. Most of them you wouldn't even know are Muslims unless you asked them. Are any of them terrorists? Sure some of them probably are, but I would bet good money they are outnumbered ten to one by the Timothy McVeighs and the Terry Nichols of this world, who see nothing wrong with Christians taking out a day care center. Or the friendly guy who sent anthrax around in the mail. Dave |

This sounds like Dhimmi.com. Visit Religionofpeace.com or jihadwatch.org there are links to many other sites. Islam is butchering infadels all over the world. If you are not a Muslim you are an infadel. Since 9/11 there have been over 10,000 deadly jihadist attacks worldwide. Islam leaves a pile of death in their path. What do you ladies not get?Stop Jihad!

And Hindu's, to show they are not prejudiced murder Christians and Muslims alike, and in Indonesia, Christian and Muslim terrorists happily murder each other, and in Nigeria, the same. Yes, sounds like just what we need in America! Could it be, could it just be, that extremists of all religions leave a trail of loose nuts and bolts where ever they go? Sounds good to me! Just what our nation needs today! And let's encourage the moderates of all faiths to kill each other as well? Dave |

OMG! So since the population is twice as large in Minneapolis as it is in St Paul, I s'pose that means you can't find any in St Paul.. And would be THOUSANDS of miles from the larger population in Minneapolis! BRILLIANT!! I guess that's why you guess the weather.. a little different from demographics and geography.. as for living there for 45 years, what can I say, bud, you have my condolences.. but I'll give you a hand.. the weather is cold, except for your 3 month mosquito season... but hang in there.. with global warming it should be up to a 4 month mosquito season in a few more years.. as for racially insensitive statements, thank you Mr Sharpton.. you don't owe any back taxes do you? |

Wow, I have to say that as I was reading the article I was afraid that I would look on the boards and everyone would be agreeing. I am very happy to see that almost everybody has some sense.
As a military person, I thought it would be prudent for me to learn about "the enemy" so I started taking Arabic classes and reading up on the Quran and Middle Eastern cultures. I have learned a lot of useful information but the most important thing I have learned is the vast majority of Muslims and Arabs that I have met are fully behind Americas GWOT. The extremists are the ones that are attacking civilians, the families and friends of the people I have met in their native countries. They are very grateful that America is trying to do something good. Sure, there are definitely a lot of people who hate Americans all over the world and wish us harm but to label every Arab and Muslim as someone who wants to overthrow the US is just stupid. |

If we are not vigilent!
The Muslims will take over this country, and they will establish Muslim rule, and the radicals will dominate, and anybody that doesn't understand that is a fool! |

Vigilance? Oh, I very much agree. That is one of the reasons I spent the night of September 11th camped out in front of our local Islamic center in Vista ... there were a number of over-excitable and clueless types who might have wanted to burn it. It made for some very interesting conversations over several gallons of mint tea, but I didn't find them any stranger than the Russians or Armenians or Samoans who live close by. Recent migrants tend to be in their "own little world" ... they always have, and people have always complained that they would "never assimilate". We ought to pay more attention to our history since we have so little of it. |

Yeah! - As a New Yorker I grew up in an Italian Neighborhood, where the store signs were in Italian. If I went to Brownsville (Brooklyn) they were all in Yiddish, etc, etc. All gone. People had kids, and the kids had kids, and all that's left today are landmarks. Meanwhile, immigrants keep coming and Roosevelt Ave in Queens is little India, and in Whitestone, all Korean. But their having kids, and the kids are having kids, and they are indistinguishable from anyone else. Meanwhile my old neighborhood in Brooklyn, Bensonhurst, is a mixture of Chinese, Russian and Italian Immigrants. Bensonhurst is a trip, because the enclaves have mixed. Funny to stand in front of three stores, one selling Russian treats, the next Chinese, and the third, sweet sausage from Italy. And it's been this way since the first wave of immigration in the 1760's, when the "Scotch Irish," trecked down to the Carolina's from Pennsylvania, after fleeing Ireland. The Rice Kings of Carolina called them "scum," and barbarians, and tried to keep them politically powerless... Dave |

Islam preaches world domination. You are correct. Denial is not a river in Egypt! Most posts here would indicate an ignorance of the Qu'ran and what it says. Jihad is a requirement of all Muslims. This is no drill folks. There are numerous books on the evil of Islam. They are not for the faint of heart. Stop Jihad |

All proselytizing religion preach, "world domination." You can find anything you want in the Bible or the Koran to back up what you want to do. Plenty of Christians can't wait for Armegeddon. But if you want peace, not hard to find that either...

And tithing is a requirement of all Christians. So is caring for the poor and visiting the imprisoned. Good luck enforcing either side. |

With all due respect, You are incorrect. The Quran teaches no such thing. The spreading of any religion is a basic precept. The Jihad spoken of in the Quran is the same fight against evil spoken of in most faiths...a battle within one's own heart. There are some hate mongers in every faith who lose sight of the basis of their faith and preach hate and violence...even in 'Christianity' - Jerry Falwell "...let's blow 'em away in the name of the Lord". Pat Robertson's suggestion that we "get rid of Hugo Chavez.." Jesus would be so proud. I went throught the Q Course with a Muslim who immigrated from Lebanon in the 60's...do not doubt his conviction as an American soldier for even a second. His wife cooked wonderful meals for me and some other troopers from our team. I learned first hand from these devoted loving people what true Islam is. I would remind you that it is better to remain silent and be thought ignorant than to speak and remove all doubt, but in your case it is far too late. |

Good post, The net is sooooo full of anti-Muslim sites that twist the meaning of the Koran, words cannot describe. Indeed some of the sites themselves are not "lying," so much as writing out of fear, and then there's the difficulty of a Bible reader, such as myself, to work my way through the Koran. I read it once, and very little sank in, had to torture myself and read it again. Dave |

This is absurd.. in the wake of 9/11 one man was shot in Arizona in retaliation.. ONE.. And some mosques were vandalized.. in a country of 300 million with a middle-eastern population in the scores of thousands.. a blood-thirsty and over-zealous lot we are.. IMO our tolerance 'street cred' is well established, and we can afford to keep our guard up without being accused of starting another round of Jim Crow laws.. but hell, that's just me....
