Maybe the Israelis will do us a favor and keep the woman ...

quote:
Former U.S. lawmaker and Green Party presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney and several other human rights activists remained in an Israeli prison Thursday after refusing to sign a deportation form that they claim is self-incriminating.

In a press release from the Green Party, McKinney said the form states that the Spirit of Humanity, a Greek-flagged relief boat carrying 21 activists, medical supplies, cement, olive trees and children's toys en route to Gaza, was violating the Israeli blockade and trespassing the country's territorial waters.

Let me get this straight.... She is in a foreign prison for doing something stupid and she refuses to leave. And I'm supposed to be upset about this!!?? Heck no! Keep her... Tell ya what... I'll pass the hat for a collection to help pay for her jail cell.

You guys keep her. We'll call this one a draw.

Unless my memory does me a disservice, this is the second time the whackjob former congresswoman has collided with the Israeli navy ... slow learner. Since she departed Atlanta, does anyone know where she parks her butt? ... when she's not out stirring up trouble?

She had the opportunity to 'admit her wrongdoing' and be deported from Israel. She chose to stay in an Israeli prison.

She's not whining, or asking for help, she's embarrassing Israel and making a point.

This is the second time she's tried bringing relief supplies to Gaza by boat.

She may be a whack job, but she's got more moxie than the average whack-job.

Israel does not need the relief supplies that they are using as a pretest to gain entry past Israel's checkpoint.

Cindy baby is not embarrassing Isael. SHe is that one in prison and too dumb to find a way out.
Isn't this the same person that shoved a security guard in Washington D.C. when he didn't recognizer her and wouldn't let he into a government office building because she didn't have her valid pass?

Where is that hat taking up a collection? I want to donate.

I disagree on both counts.

Sounds like a whine to me ...

quote:
"State Department and White House officials have not effected our release or taken a strong public stance to condemn the illegal actions of the Israeli Navy of enforcing a blockade of humanitarian assistance to the Palestinians of Gaza, a blockade that has been condemned by President Obama."

If anything, seems to me that this is embarassing to the Obama administration ... after all, McKinney is hardly a conservative ... or Republican. If she thinks she's embarassing Israel, she's peeing into the wind. I hope they keep her as long as possible. In order for her to be an embarassment to Israel, someone has to care that she is being held ... and I don't know who that would be ...

Oh, no, she is here. Eek

I realize that i am asking too much, but can you please take her back? Big Grin

On the second thought, let her remain just where she is. Here it is not US, and no one recognizes her or even knows about her, so her impact is minimal.

I hope she gets the muddy bottom in front of the other inmates. That'll humble her.

She's not embarrassing Israel, she's giving the Israelis the wrong impression of the mental acuity of American citizens...
Ya know, the Israelis believe in "enhanced" interrogation, let's see the Israelis do a little "enhanced" interrogation on her...
If "enhanced" interrogation is not torture, as some on here contend, then there should be no problem in getting her to "admit" to her "wrong doing", via a little "enhanced" interrogation...

What would be the point, though? Interrogating someone is meant to gain useful information...and I think Israel already knows what kind of "useful" information it would get from that whacked out *****. Big Grin

I hope the Israeli government takes the time to lock her up in an Israeli prison and permenantly misplaces the key. In fact, that should be done to the whole lot that was with McKinney!

Wanna bet Israel doesn't make any announcements when they let her, and the others, go?

If there were more Americans like her, the middle east would be a different place, and America might not have two wars on its hands.

It was said sarcastically, to all those that believe in enhanced interrogation and along the lines of the old Cheech and Chong album cut about the old man being interrogated and tortured to get him to sign a statement that he wasn't tortured, except that he can't sign it because the people wanting him to sign it have broken all of his fingers!...

I was just wondering if some of you actually get paid for, or do you just get the kicks out of bashing Americans (former Congresswoman, former President..Etc) for the benefit of another country? Confused Popcorn
