Our son sends my wife and me, from Anbar, links to Gen. Petreaus' testimony (click here) and the accompanying charts (click here).

No comment needed, except to say, that from our son's NCO point of view, Gen. Petraeus' testimony is a solidly realistic summary of what is *really* happening in Iraq.

Now we'll see if Congress, the White House, and the American people, can back this war.

Very impressive. I also like the note the General sent to Chairman. Did it without checking with either JCS or the President. I like that, but that can backfire on him. Hope not. Have a good day!~! Wink Cool

Maybe we just need to clean house in the whole system, stay within our Constitution ofcourse. We need Reagan back! We need someone like Teddy Roosevelt, or Truman too. I bet they are rolling in their graves right now!
