Good call, I wonder if the natives spotted them so easily?

huh! That's kind of scary! "They didn't walk like the others..." That reminds me of the stories where service members were killed because they didn't pee in outdoor toilet facilities during WWII.

Wow. I wonder if those men who were saved by the British Sailor were being watched and/or targeted by local hostiles for the same reason?

wow. something to think about...

Like a blackman in the heart of NAZI Germany passing himself off as Hitler. The little things can get those guys killed.

Way to go!! Good point about the locals also spotting them. Just a note, in some pictures I noticed a group off unfriendly “civilians” coming off a bus into Afghanistan from Iran walking “different.” It’s a “Dead” giveaway. All the locals know. Be Careful!

Keep up the good work, Royal Navy! They are our true allies, and have been for a very long time.

Is this the same Royal Navy that is the third largest employer of LGBT citizens in the UK? How could that be?

out-frickin-standing!!

I guess it's a win lose situation for those spec-ops guys though. If an officer can recognize this through a camera onto a video screen from miles away, they are certainly a dead giveaway to the locals.

I wonder if this is going to start a new wave of training for those guys to "walk like a local"?

This happens more than you might think. But is rarely talked about. Great job. This time a mistake on the way special forces walked saved their bacon. Semper Fi. I did my 20+ and now let the young take that chances.

Jolly good show Royal Navy....further proof that the UK and the US are so very much intertwined - as cousin military forces - and, as far as the Royal Marines and the SAS are concerned....WOW!
