Heard this on the radio the other day and now see the story about the actor. Good for him. He joins the listing of other famous actors that have gone in harms way for the country. Salute.

But I have a question. He is getting out soon. I thought they had a stop loss thingy going on (or so Hollyweird would make you believe).
What is the current status of enlistments?

They haven't initiated an Army-wide stop-loss... Yet, anyway. It's all (un)luck of the draw so far.

That's great for him, though. I ETS in just a few short weeks myself, although I don't have any sweet Hollywood deals lined up.

I hope he never told his drill sergeants about that
