Well?? 'Bout darned time. However, experience has proven time and time again that "reviews" are merely a cover for not changing.

After all, there have been tons of complaints up the chain of command about the crummy M9s and the Army just ordered another 25,000 M9s two months ago.

People always complain and say that the 5.56 round isn't heavy enough. I disagree. I don't think it's the caliber that sucks I think it's the bullet desing that sucks. If we were allowed to use a hunting type of round that was still chambered in 5.56 then I guarantee you that guys would drop in their tracks.

Well, the fact is that by international treaty (not sure if it was Geneva, Hague or other) all military bullets must be full metal jacketed. While I'm sure there have been isolated incidents, to my knowledge no military in the world, including Nazi Germany and current or former communist countries, has made it policy to violate that provision.

I can't foresee the US ever violating it either.

Remember, you must kill and maim "nicely".
You can kill your enemy but be kind when you do and remember, it's all right to kill 'em, you just can't eat 'em...
