dude...why even bother? Ever time someone gives a huge line by line reply to one of his many many factless posts all he ever replies with is some sort of insult.

Well you need to "stand and deliver", mmulder. Listen to Palin's resignation speech again. She mentions "Trig" in it -- "especially after the family recently had to see/listen to their little baby brother being mocked by some pretty mean spirited adults" (In the video right after she talks about polling the family for a vote.)

I've included a link for your convenience.

First: If you seriously believe the younger daughter was the intended person, that is something you have to contend with yourself.
I've conversed with more then a few Alaskans who understood the person who was being referred to was the hypocritical, older, unmarried abstinence touting Bristol. BTW, where is that child of hers while she's out "touring"?
It only became an issue when the rest of the country was informed that it was, in fact, the younger daughter Willow that was with Mrs. Palin and not Bristol.
Second: I've no intention of traveling the country looking for ignorant nutcases who feel the need to justify their existence by demeaning others...that is unless you're willing to finance me? It could become very expensive as there are many, many people who fit that description.
And the Alaskans who "mocked" the boy are just that....Alaskans. Doesn't make it right but it was her party.

The Liberals and Liberal-Backed groups have filed numerous "frivolous" ethics complaints against Governor Palin.

- The COST of continual defending herself, against these total frivolous charges, is ever increasing and that is the INTENTof those bringing the charges.

- Liberals PLAY DIRTY POLITICS against those who are popular in the other parties. Simply stated, Liberals are mean.

- Governor Palin has decided that she will not seek re-election as Governor. That's her choice. But, the Complainers would have a negative label of "Lame-duck" Governor to add to their criticism of Governor Palin.

Thus, I support and endorse her move.

- Her speaking engagement opportunities will bring her ten-fold (or more) monies to defend against the frivolous charges.

- She will be able to travel more in the Contential U.S. and build her political support.

- - She will speak for poitical candidates in the 2010 elections, thereby building her political support for a possible 2012 run for the Presidency.

I think she has made a good choice, and as the LIBERALS posting on this thread know and understand. she could become a very VIABLE Candidate AGAINST President Obama in the 2012 Elections. That is the point of these baseless charges. She is a "Threat" and they will continue to try to eliminate her as a threat to Obama.!!!!!

I hope she is successful!!!!!

She would be a ten-fold better President than the one we currently have in office.

Agreed, she may be able to save the economy from Obama's disasterous policies and programs, it will take a very strong new president to reverse the current and on going collapse!

Palin Attorney Threatens Lawsuits

Outgoing Alaska Gov.'s Lawyer Warns of Legal Action Against News Outlets that Publish "Defamation"

(AP) The abruptness of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's announcement and the mystery surrounding her plans has fed widespread speculation, but Palin attorney Thomas Van Flein on Saturday warned legal action may be taken against bloggers and publications that reprint what he calls fraudulent claims.

"To the extent several websites, most notably liberal Alaska blogger Shannyn Moore, are now claiming as 'fact' that Governor Palin resigned because she is 'under federal investigation' for embezzlement or other criminal wrongdoing, we will be exploring legal options this week to address such defamation," Van Flein said in a statement. "This is to provide notice to Ms. Moore, and those who re-publish the defamation, such as Huffington Post, MSNBC, the New York Times and The Washington Post, that the Palins will not allow them to propagate defamatory material without answering to this in a court of law."

Ahem!

With Liberals very much in the minority in the State of Alaska... a personal visit to that state's legislative website would lead you the realization that it was HER FELLOW REPUBLICANS that were leading the ethics charges and had the ethics questions... Roll Eyes

So you personally would hire someone who quits at the time the going gets contentious??? WTF?

All Palin had to do was finish her term... and take whatever flak that came her way. That is all. She could even handle 1.10th of the kinds of crap she would have to handle as president... and she ran away. In all likelihood... she would run away as President as well.

Since when do you applaud failure as a laudable goal?
