Hope she's got her sights on Obama's second (?) term, his first term is a total failure, only to get worse!

Former vice presidential hopeful won't finish out first term

WASILLA, Alaska - Sarah Palin plans to resign as governor of Alaska in a few weeks, KTUU-TV reported Friday.

Happy for her to get shed of the constant nagging from political cauldron stirrers. Happy for Alaska for electing a women (and she is that), still scratching my head why the GOP thought a small State governor would draw in the 2008 election. Glad for us that we don't have to put up with liberal and media carping for four more years....... A governor, a wife, a Mother, a Grandmother. I can see how that scared the hell out of the panty waist limp wristed liberals.

So in other words on top of her other flaws she does not have enough of a moral compass to complete a job she signed up for? And John McCain thought she was his best pick for vp?
Makes me even more glad I voted against McCain.

Yeah, people are really put off by someone as well spoken as Palin - you betcha Roll Eyes

If you don't like the complaining about someone, who was so ill fitted for the job, then how do you feel about the constant griping about someone who was qualified for the position, during Clinton's years in office and now Obama's?

Small state? It don't get no bigger than Alaska! Remeber that Texans! Big Grin I know. You mean small as in population.

I believe the GOP picked her because Alaska is an energy state as in lots of oil. And also because as a woman it was thought she would draw in some of the Democratic voters. That's what I believe...

Don't keep us in suspense, who would that person be? Perhaps he or she should consider running for office as it could only be an improvement over what we have now.

Hardly a surprising comment, but it did take a little longer than anticipated.

Oh come on people, she's preparing the ground for 2012!

By leaving office early, Ms. Palin, a 45-year-old mother of five, will be able to travel around the country more freely and not be constrained by the duties and responsibilities of being a governor.

IMHO she's a smug moron, not even worthy of a Jerry Springer type show.
