ANKARA - Turkey's army chief on June 5 said that Turkey and Iran were coordinating raids on the northern Iraq-based Kurdish separatists, NTV television reported.

"With Iran we made coordinated attacks. If necessary we will do it again. We are sharing intelligence with Iran," General Ilker Basbug told reporters in Ankara.

Basbug said the two countries had launched simultaneous attacks on the Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) and their allies, the Party of Free Life of Kurdistan (PJAK), from within their respective borders. He said the attacks took place more than one to two months ago.

This is bad. However, terrorism is terrorism and the Kurds had better get their Kurdish brethren under control or they are at risk of facing a real a$$ whippin' by Iran and Turkey.

Similarly, the Palestinians need to apply the same rigor to the radicalized people in Gaza.

Good point! You know what would be SWEET?

What if the Kurds offered to join in the operations with Iran and Turkey?

Let's see:
1. Turkey is our NATO ally.
2. Turkey refused to allow us to stage troops for the invasion.
3. Iran is our adversary.
4. Turkey and Iran are allied.
5. The Iraqi government turned to Iran to broker a cease fire rather than the US.
6. We’re threatening Iran with military action.

With these stars in alignment, it’s not a news story, it’s bad astrology.
