This time when I bought the 44 model I purchased the thickest recoil pad I could find and then put another piece of foam in it. I remember what the recoil was on my 20 something year old shoulder. Now in my fifties, a little extra cushioning is called for!!! Just bought 500 more rounds of ammo Friday.
