Around... 10 years ago, my dad bought a mac-90 semi-auto rifle that was on sale fo around $200. We didn't register it, and a couple years laer, they were illegalized. We had it destroyed just before they were legalized again. Does anyone know where I can get a new one? Thanks

The MAK-90 is really only a AK-47 with a thumbhole stock mounted. You can pick one up just about anywhere outside of certain states like California that have bans on all "assault rifles". They are quite cheap. Pick up a Shotgun News from your local newsstand if your local gun store cannot get their hands on one. You can have them shipped to a FFL. Also www.gunbroker.com is an excellent place to find one.

Here in California, any FFL transfer is now $125 plus shipping. What a f-en rip off. I have a MAK-90, bought years ago before all these ridiculous bans. It is true, they're reliable and eat up Wolf brand ammo like it's candy. People like to complain that they're not accurate, but what the hell? I hit 200 meter targets all day. A friend bought a fancier/costlier version from Yugoslavia(?), it's nicer that the MAK.
