Hopefully all of the proposals will be funded and put into place. After watching the promises made to veterans since I served, it is wait and see. One thing for sure I will know sooner then most, as my job is assisting the claimant.

Dave, not sure if appropriate to address to you; if her husband was retired but not receiving retired/retainer pay he is considered a Gray Area Retiree and his spouse and children are entitled to an ID Card and Benefits.
Here is a website that lists the benefits (for Army, however i believe it should be the same for all services) https://www.hrc.army.mil/site/...irement/grayarea.htm the Widow should locate and contact the Retirement Services Office for her region to receive specifics. |
