Sgt Shaft: I am trying to get a final answer on my delimna. I was a dumb kid just out of school and declined the MGIB in boot camp almost 20 years ago (yeah I stayed in!!!) and now know the benefits of school. I am looking for a way in to the MGIB now, and the answers I have been told are "You have one time to decline, and that is non reversable"..... What can I do to get the GIBill now?
Well, if you have any post 9/11 time your ship just came in! The new bill is a new shot, doesn't matter if you turned it down before because you don't have to pay for this one. All you need is to have served time post 9/11.
