I've heard of the man-made "Narcosubs" coming out of Columbia used for smuggling ridiculous amounts of cocaine, and I came across a series of videos showing the story behind them and an inside look into the whole thing. US Coast Guard and Columbian Navy captured and seized a bunch of these submarines and semi-submersibles...Thought that this would make an eenteresting topic of discussion. feel free to drop your two cents guys.

FYI, the April 2009 edition of MAXIM had a great story about the USCG battling these subs. It was titled, "The Hunt for White October".

I wonder if the Coast Guard is now second guessing their doing away with SONAR and the ST's?

I saw some pictures when they caught on of them. They are trying all sorts of things these days.
