Has anyone been through the 2 week Boarding Officer Qualification Suport Program at the MLEA/FLETC in Charleston, SC yet? Basically BO School for reservists. I am scheduled to go this month. Just looking for any info/hints before I go.

I know that is what I will be doing there. I have never been to the MLEA before so I am looking more for info about if we have any free time, how much homework we are given, what to do if I have any free time, what to pack, Should I take my laptop, laundry facilities, ETC? That is more of what I really need to know.

Great facilities on base....the BEST food I've ever had in the Guard!!

Wet Willys and the Market Street Saloon always treated me very well Wink

Charleston is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Myrtle beach is close. Great TAD, great school. Try not to spend toooo much time @ the 10/7...this is the bar attached to the barracks (yea, attached to the barracks). Nothin like getting drunk with a bunch of coasties talking nothing but GUARD for 7-weeks of BO school- blah. Get out and enjoy yourself and the area...google is your friend.

I completed the BOQSP & graduated from BOPC. Excellent program. Now the Guard needs an Advanced BO Course.
