Hi i want to go in to law enforcement and was wondering which rating gets to do the most law enforcement. Is there a sure way to get in to it in the CG? also if you sign up for a position is there a sure chance you can get that rating or do they just stick you where they need you.
According to your profile you are considering joining the Army. I would think MP would be your best bet.
Of course if what you want is to get into civilian law enforcement, why not take the requisite classes necessary in college to get a degree that provides you the best opportunity?
I know here in Phoenix the city (only Phoenix, not outlying cities) plans to hire 500 more police officers in the next couple years.
civilian law enforcment is more of my back up im thinking i want to try doing some kind of military and see if i can make it a career. Also I am considering alot of things Army, Army NG, coast guard, AF, and some college option if i can find somthing i really want to do.
