Hi all

just read the news article about the USCG arming more helocopters. Seems like a good move but it did not say what they were armed with. Do you guys think the USCG will ever have forward facing armorment on Helicopters?

You mean like the Cobra or Apache? Probably not - looks like door guns are the order of the day.

I have read about HITRON, are these new armed helicopters just like HITRON. That is what I was assuming.

I just figured this would be an interesting topic maybe not
