Define "billeting".

If you mean Fort Polk lodging: The main building-yes, other buildings no.
If you mean the barracks: seriously doubt it.
If you mean the building the RTU stays in before going to the box: **** no.

This is as of April 2008.

blah ha bla ha ha. Obviously this "Joe" has never been to Louisiana little else Ft. Polk. Here's a hint maybe when they find out what the "internet" is they might actually get a good dial up service little else wifi. Leave the computer at home.

WiFi at JRTC? Heh, nope, sorry. I think I found one spot that had WiFi (the shopette with the laundromat and barber shop), and it sucked. Bring a few good books, that's about all the advice I can offer.

Hehehe.... this is hilarious. Considering how I JUST got back from JRTC not two months I can assure you unless you're picked for some COIST detail you'll probably never see the internet. Why're you worried about that anyway? Pay attention, train up and get ready to deploy for crying out loud. BT Dubbs, the Gmen are apparently superhuman, good look killing them if you get into a firefight.

That's a negative with most of the Post deployed this past year there is very little "open" outside the main gate. Hell there is very little open till you reach Lake Charles or Alexandria

place was a dive anyways and they tried to cheat soldiers all the time.

I was there once, openned a tab on a card, bought a round of drinks and a dance for a friend on it.

When I went to cash out, three more dances had "appeared" on the card some how.

I'm sure if I had been drunk I would have never caught the mistake but I was sober.

A "classy" place to say the least.
