I want to enlist in the military as a pharmacy technician. What's the best way for me to remain active duty and go to pharmacy school. The pharmacy program along with pre-requisites will add up to six years I still have to complete. Is it even possible for me to stay in one place for that long (I'll have to stay in the same place once accepted into pharmacy program)while active duty or will I have to get out after my 4 years of service and use the GI bill to finish school then rejoin?
thanks

1. Don't ask the same question in duplicate areas - especially when they don't pertain to the topic of the forum.

2. you need to be over in the Joining the Military Forums.

3. You will be able to take a class here and there but you are not going to join the army and then go to college full time unless you are in an ROTC program - otherwise -forget it.

4. Pharmacy school requires alot of prep courses such as Biology which most colleges do not offer at night or weekends. If you completed the requirements of a Pre-Med degree somehow while on active duty - you would have to then seperate from active duty to go into a Pharmacy Program.

Pharmacy Tech or a Pharmacist?? There's a difference.
Pharmacy Tech school--if you go to a decent, hands-on school is a year program.
Pharmacist school--much longer...as in years of schooling.
