I did a forum search and came up empty. Been trying to find old buddies from Germany mostly (1-37 Armor, Katterbach/Vilseck)Most search tools or what ever want the mighty dollar to find people. Its very hard when mostly all I know is last name, first name most of the time and possibly rank.
And how can I change my user name to something other than a number? I feel like a POW Frown
Thanks.

Go to My Account and you can change the number to a name, add in the unit you served in.

There are forums for people looking to connect with old friends here: http://forums.military.com/eve...s/a/cfrm/f/967197221

and there is a group named army.TogetherWeServed that you can google to find. I can't post the hotlink here. I have found many of my old drinking partners from the days I spent in Korea in the 80s there.

Numbers:

I was in 1/37 AR in K-bach ... but, before your time; I was there Feb 1972 - Aug '74, HQ Tank Section of HHC, 1/37, Bismarck Kaserne, K-bach. At that time, 1st AD HQ was in Hindenburg Kaserne, Ansbach, while 1st BDE HQ was at Storck Barracks, Illesheim.

Cheers,
