Hello, I am hoping somebody out there can give me an answer. My husband deployed about a month ago. We were told that he would get stop loss pay. His orginal ETS date is May 22 of 2010 but they changed his ETS date til Dec. 26, 2010. He was told by his PLT Sgt that he would be eligiable for the stop loss pay. I know its only about a month into the deployment but we have not seen it or does it take a while for this pay to show up? I know there is a website for the retroactive stop loss but I am unsure if that is something that we need to do. I don't know if he was stop lossed before he left or how that all plays. I have contact our rear d and finance but they are not answering there phones. I just need pointed in the right direction. Thanks Smile

Ummm...it's not even 2010 yet. Confused
I don't think he's even eligible for stop-loss pay until he actually goes over that date...I'm thinking you can't get an advance on that pay.

He is not stop lossed yet.
No pay until he is.

that's kinda what I was thinking Judge...I'd never heard of anyone being paid for it BEFORE the stop-loss date....sounded a bit weird to me.

He will receive a partial stoploss payment from May 23 to May 30 2010 and then every month after that date.

Can't get paid until he is actually stopped from seperating.
