Ok so my boyfriend arrived at Ft. Benning Sept. 22. I looked today to see if he had got paid and he got about $750 less than he did on the 15th. Why is there such a big difference?
I think he does, but then again maybe not. Most of his stuff is paid online except for one place I have checks made out too, so I can't actually touch his money realistically.
LOL, Eagle Cash card... Jayzuz, I still remember the days of "PVT Windsor reports for pay, sir." And a $250 dollar advance? Ours was $75. My how things change...

I remember reading about that in an old copy of FM 22-5, "Drill and Ceremonies."
At first I thought the Eagle Cash Card was g@y, but when I deployed, I loved it. I used the heck outta mine! I refused to use my bank debit card in any of the hajji shops; no telling how secure those arrangements are. So my Eagle Cash Card got lots of use in Iraq!

When I joined my recruiter stated we were some of the first recruits to have mandatory direct deposit. Before we could go to BCT, we had to provide proof of a bank account plus a direct deposit form sign by a bank. We reported for pay our first pay period, but never again. We never got a cash advance though. We were told to bring a small amount of cash and that was it.
His pay will be lower on the 1st if he has allotments. All allotments come out of your pay on the first while your mid month pay is half of your base pay not including allotments. So for example if your base pay is $2000, you will get $1000 on the 15th and then on the 1st. If you have a $250 allotment then your mid month pay will still be $1000 but your pay on the first will be the remaining $750.
