welcome to bliss....believe it or not this is a nice area...an there is plenty here to do or see.....but one thing you can not do is go to mexico...that is a big off limits.....as you can see when you got here that they are expanding the px, commissary and so forth....so get online and look at all the things you can see or do here....it is really not bad at all..its all on how you make it out to be.....

Hello! I just got here to Bliss as well, a month ago! Hey maybe we can chat and get to know one another, I feel the same way as you do, but very very very very very slowly, Bliss is beginning to somewhat kinda grow on me. LoL.

When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand.

I've been here a little over 4 months and it still feels like another world to me haha. Its not a bad place to live at all, its just totally different from where I came from. Everything here is the complete opposite from back home.

Once you meet some friends it will be better! Smile Good luck to you!

I hope you are enjoying your stay!
Let's face it, it is not the most attractive place to be at (I am from Puerto Rico) but once you've been here for a while it grows on you. I've been here for 5 years and my husband for 10. I do not like it much but I make the best of it. One thing I do like is that people are friendly (at least people outside of post LOL). I can assure you that by the time you leave El Paso you will leave with a handful of great friends, Army and non-Arm.
