I was looking for some ladies who are at Fort Campbell or going to be there. My husband has to report there mid January. I'm excited yet nervous I'm coming from Florida BIG change for us esp. weather wise. I am 20 by the time we get there I will be 21. Just looking to get to know some people before we get there. I was lucky enough to meet another girl we became best friends and her Fiance is also being stationed at Campbell. Just wondering what it is like there and how the base is.

The post (get used to calling it a post not "base") is nice compared to a lot of Army posts. The surrounding area is pretty nice, too. Since you are about to be 21, if you guys are looking for fun, you need to go down the road to Nashville. Most of the bars in Clarksville are pretty trashy. The Blackhorse is pretty cool- it's a brewery. Most of the housing on post has been replaced with new housing, off-post housing is good, too. The PX was recently renovated and the hospital on post is pretty large and I had a good experience with them.
Do you know who your husband has been assigned to there? We were there before, I am from the area, and we will be PCSing back to Campbell in the summer.
No one is posted for awhile, so I'm not sure if it'll be read, but my husband is due to report to Campbell come 2009 Nov 7. I'm excited and nervous, but definitely an exciting adventure since we will be living together by ourselves for the first time
Hey hey!! DH and I just got remarried.. and he has been here at fort campbell since september, but I am pretty much here. and will be in the process of moving on and off down here!!! I would love to make some new friends!!! some girls to hang out with have a good ol time! new comers to explore with and even current residents around. but i am 21 and always down for some hanging out and fun!!! I'm pretty friendly lol so dont be scared! haha
