Is there anybody currently living or have lived on the Campbell post within the year or so? We'll be having our first inspection (we're PCSing) soon and I have questions about the color of the wall paint on the housing (on post). What color is it???
I have holes on the wall that I filled with putty from attempting to put pictures as well as curtains up. My hubby was deployed at the time and I wanted him to be proud of me doing all these things I'd normally have him do. Yes, I failed quite a bit, but now I have to paint over the holes I've made before the inspection. Only because that way they wouldn't know where to look for holes if I did. Not to be a pain-in-the-butt tenant, but it's just ridiculous how much they'll charge you for petty things, especially if they're gonna paint the whole house either way... unless I was told wrong. Maybe I'm exaggerating? Everything that deals about the whole moving from a house is still kind of new to both of us, so if there are any suggestions or tips you can share, it will be much appreciated! Hopefully this isn't too late... I solved a similar problem at Fort Drum by taking a cap off the baseboard heater that was painted using the same paint that was on the walls. I took it to Home Depot or Lowes and had them match it for me (a quart or a pint, if they will). Voila! done!
