Is anyone watching the Military Channel anymore? They have some good stuff on.

I would if I could. My buddy has it an doesn't understand why I always wanna watch it.

My favorite channel. I really like watching the shows on the different specilized training, like Sniper School or BUD/s. Just watched the Best Ranger 2008 the other day and last month (I think) I watched a very good program on HALO (not the video game )

Channel 287 on Directv. I watch it all the time. They are doing the "Toughest Ranger 2009" again this year. I watched the Sniper School, the tank rebuilds, Hitlers Bodyguards, etc. They seem to have a lot of the same programming as History Channel. Good channel, and I enjoy the pentagon review each day.

Did anyone watch the International Sniper Competition over the weekend? I was really impressed with the police SWAT team (I drew a blank on where they were from) and their score shooting out of a helicopter.

Not too much lately, mostly reruns of ruruns of reruns. Hope a the new season starts soon.

Hey folks --- Last night on the series called: "Great Planes" they featured the B.U.F.F. , which is the nickname the aircraft has gotten --- Big Ugly Fat Fellow... { btw- I think it looks just fine,,, and several ground-pounders have thought so for years }

Sometimes called the "Old Dog", it can deliver bunches of standard 500 pounders or even cruise missiles.

Otherwise known as the B-52 ! This bird made it's first flight in 1952 and is older than almost all the guys flying it!

It's key is that it works and delivers the goods to faraway places. Long wingspan and eight engines. If you don't have cable or Sat. TV then try the Military channel's website.

I do wish Military Channel would add something new/change something around on Friday nights. They keep showing "Wings of the Luftwaffe"... How about showing Wings of the victorious RAF/RCAF/RAAF/RNZAF which helped whoop the loser Axis types in all theaters..?!?

Or maybe a series about the brave Finns whooping the slimey Soviets... I would love that!
