My husband and I are originally from Illinois. We are stationed in Germany for the Army. I know that i can't file for divorce here in Germany and that i would have to go home to Illinois to file.
I don't want to be married because i am not in love with him anymore and i can't lie to him at all and i don't want to give him the excuse of when something would/if happen and there is more just wish not to get into it.
I told him that i don't want really much of anything from him since he has worked for the stuff. I just want a few things and to be gone. He doesn't want to give me anything, just the clothes that i have but there is stuff i have here that i had b4 we got married.
I dunno who to talk to bc from what i see in other discussions is that the army won't get involved but I know that i can be EROD-ed back to Illinois. Who do i talk to about that? do i have to have counseling? bc i know it won't work.
I have looked into filing online buts its money i don't have and he won't give me. He can file for free but he doesn't want to.
He won't send me home, give me money, do anything. I'm just here cleaning house as a maid instead of doing it and more as a wife. I don't have a job here and no money. Family back home are in hard times and can't send me the money or buy a ticket for me to come home.
I need some advice... i want to try to be back in Illinois in Dec-Jan.

HELP I'm LOST!

the only person who can request EROD is the servicemember. if he is unwilling to do that for whaetevr reason he cannopt be forced to.

AllI can suggest is talk tot he Chaolain about maybe tryingt o convicne your spouse to request the EROD.. but prepare to have to try counseling first..they are big on that sort of thing.

Otherwise.. find your own way back.

She can but she needs a command sponsorship letter saying she is allowed to use it. She then will have no control over what happens to her goods, he could sell them all so she would have nothing. As suggested if she is having these problems then she can speak to a Chaplain about it. They can help get all the necessary paperwork done.
