I am special, really I am!

Just wanted to say how much I love my hubby. He knew I was having a particularly difficult week at work, so he took me on a date last night, and planned the whole thing (which he never does!).

Two weeks ago, I was concerned about space issues in the bathroom, well, on his day off, he went to Lowes and bought and new bathroom cabinet, and had installed it before I even got home. He even bought a small plastic organizer for my makeup, just because he thought it would make my life easier. Isn't that nice?

What are some nice things your honey has done for you lately?

He is making an effort not to lay his stuff around the house when he comes home from work knowing that I have been obsessive/compulsive about keeping the house spotless as we are showing the house for potential renters.

I love that man!

He's still my fiance not hubby, but a few weeks ago he asked what I wanted for my birthday and I randomly named off a few things (a book, two DVDs, and a video game). The next night he called to say he was picking all of them up! Eek He spoils me all the time, even though I tell him not to. Poor me, huh? Roll Eyes

He has been nothing but patient and loving despite all my bad moods that have come up. I am so very lucky to have him in my life.

My hubby bought me a leather purse while he was in Kuwait. Can't wait to see it, what if it's really ugly or something?
I think it's so sweet of him, I don't really care if it is ugly! hee hee.

Though he's been irritating me out of my mind, he still makes me smile. In the worst times of the day when I'm not in the mood, he'll do something so silly that I can't help but laugh at him.

I had a melt down today(8 mo. pregnant mind you) about him putting my clean towel on top of a dusty shelf I can't reach, which in turn made my towel dusty! The nerve!! He just sat there listening to me grumble under my breath about him and how inconsiderate he is and what a butt face move and so on. Next thing I know he returns from WalMart with new towels as an apology, and he got them to match my bathroom to boot! Just a few more weeks honey, hang in there!

Phone calls.

From Bangor Maine..... letting me know he made it that far.
For -not- calling me from Germany at 3am! LOL

For calling from Kuwait when they were wheels down, but not even at the terminal.... then calling back because I couldn't talk Smile

And then apologizing for not being able to call for a few days..... in advance! Smile

I'm dreading the cell bill, but that's ok Smile I'll have my whole paycheck sent to AT&T! LOL

LOL!!!!!! That's a good one.

I MISS a lot of thing my hubby did for me when he was home that I never realized until I didn't have him anymore....

Walk the dogs when it was cold/dark so I wouldn't have to.

Make dinner when I was too tired.

Do the laundry when I had to work and he didn't.

Take my car while I was at work, leaving me to flip out about him not being back in time for me to get home, then bring it back in plenty of time spotless inside and out.....

Now he's in A school in California (I'm in VA), and he called one day and I was telling him about how hungry I was and that I was craving Chinese food. I can't ever call and order it though b/c I can't understand them and it embarrasses me. Roll Eyes He acted like he HAD to go for something important, then called me back 10 minutes later. Ten minutes after that I had chinese food at my door.

I love him.

...because he tries to call me every day from training if he can.

...because he flirts with me and makes me feel smart, attractive, and just plain wonderful.

...because he's been bit by the baby bug as badly as I have, if not worse.

...because he's a traditionalist with great family values, and I love that.

I go once a wk to a part of town that I call CreepyTown cause there are several bars & its a creepy place in the dark. I take my son to guitar. I have no choice to go there.

I also travel on a highway that is just run with Deer. I call that Deer Highway. lol I pass the base/main gate on my way.

Well last night my husband called my cell & told me to go to the main gate he was waiting there. He left his truck in the visitors area and went with me and the boys to CreepyTown and he drove.

I sit in my car with my 6 yr old and its creepy. There is no where to go but wait.

I was so happy! He IS the BEST!!

Because when he writes to me he writes as if he is talking to me. So I hear every word in my head and it makes my days so much better.

Because he sends the emails at just the right time.

Because he has faith that I can do this on my own and trusts my judgement in every decision that I have made. Even if I don't.

Because he is proud of what he is doing.

Because he tries so hard to read my emails everyday and respond to them.

Because he takes the time to call us and let us know that he is okay and that he misses us.

Because he blows me kisses over the phone and types them out in emails.

Because he loves me even though I don't look ANYTHING like what I used to 4.5 years ago.

Because he loves me for me and not my looks.

Because he is a great father and an even better Daddy.

Because he has the same goals and dreams in life as I do.

Because he has integrity and is very unselfish.

I could go on for hours I think....
