Jason,

I've always known you to be pleasant, extremely caring and too damned intelligent to be in the CG. Every shipmate we've had in common has said that you are one of (if not the very) best HS's they knew of. I guess for someone with a severe chip that could be interpreted as "brown nosing". I call it envy. Pay no heed to that jive turkey. Roll Eyes

J,

Keep that up and I am gonna have to start calling you jive turkey. Angel/Devil

I am glad to see "jive turkey" came around. Too bad someone made him do it an not on his own accord. A real shame.

Ok, why am I not seeing more HSC scores on here? Are people that busy or just not interested comparing notes until the real thing comes out?

Paul you've been a 1st for 23 yrs? lol. Applause

Where exactly are you supposed to put your raw score? It seems that whatever you put in the top box in the grey column(raw test score) doesn't matter.... the test score factor still reads 50. Now, if you put your score (a 90) in the test score factor slate (this is still under the grey column)than my final multiple jumps up to a 151. This seems to high. Otherwise, if I just enter my score in the raw test score column, nothing changes and my multiple is an atrocious 111.8 (which is probably correct). Congrats to everyone who wrote well, we'll see in a few weeks once the list comes out.

I suggested using a avg score of 90 with standard deviation of 10. It really doesn't matter what numbers are used as long as the same two numbers are used by everyone. If everyone sticks with that we may get a good idea where we are relative to each other. Was that a 151 FM for the HSC? What was your raw?

Regardless as long as you punched in your SWE PDE numbers correctly, used a 90 avg test score and st dev of 10, and if you tested for HSC, you will be ahead of me on the list with a FM 151.

Oh, the test factor should change as you change test scores. Not changing may indicate a bad spread sheet, or cell. Try downloading a new spread sheet and plugging things in. That is unless you scored a 90 then you have hit the avg test score (fictitious) on the head and a test factor of 50 indicates the middle of a normal distribution. Roughly 68% of folks should sit somewhere between 80-100, 95% of folks between 70-110. I think.

Good luck,
Jason

How many out there took the 8 Test? Just wondering, I have not seen many posts for 8. So far it looks like 3 or 4 of us have taken the 8 test. I hope there is enough room to make a few 8's next year.

Hey Brian,
I heard the number that took the test was 24, but that was just hearsay, so...

I saw you posted your raw score went up a point, mine is the same so far. I wonder what the reason yours went up was?
Chris

I got an 88 BTW

Chris,
I have no idea why mine went up a point. I did not challenge any questions and I kind of figured there would be at least that many taking the test. Keeping the fingers crossed!!
