What is the process that happens when a member is deemed not fit for duty? How long is the medical discharge process?

Why disregard the post? The process is can be along ride. Depends on the condition. Is it treatable. Is it a disability? So much goes into that it is hard to answer the question. After the Med board it cab take 2-12 months.
