I was an Army Medic, with the infantry not aid station. I am wanting to know if the HS rating field is similar, or even worth going into?

"Worthing going into"? That is a bit of a generalized question, isn't it?

Well, I guess that that is a matter of individual perspective. Most of my time as an HS has been on independent duty. I can tell you that my time has been very rewarding.

first off I can tell you comeing into the USCG at you current paygrade wont happen. Maybe as an E-3 if you meet the criteria to join and then you will have to go to HS A school. any questions let my know. I am an HS as well as a recuiter. I have spent the last 7 yrs as a flight medic so as a HS there are possibilies.
