It's too bad you didn't think to ask that nieghbor that cared enough to tell you something wasn't right at your house, to care for your pets. Sadly, I find most of our young people lacking of good character these days.They seem to have what I call an 'entitlement attitude'. With four granddaughters ages 11-21 I have seen it all. I would go as far as to say that I'll bet that girl knew from day one that she was not going to do anything you asked because all she wanted was the money. Perhaps next time you'll know to never pay for services you have yet to recieve
Yes, very true, like a fool I paid "in good faith". My neighbor is unfortunately allergic to dog/cat hair so she can't really come to the house but I should have asked one of the many professional pet sitters in the area. I think you are right, this girl knew from the beginning she wasn;t going to do anything for me. I guess I have learned my lesson!
I can not believe that the only people you can't trust in the world are civilans?!!!!!!!! as I civilian, AND a military wife, I am very offended by the attitude of this article! do not group all civilians into a group because of ONE bad experience you had!
