I am an 11b new to the Army currently at Airborne School. Next week is jump week...cant ****n wait! I am waiting to recieve my orders and I checked my AKO account yesterday and under the self service tab I went to my personnel and then under G-1 Personal I went to the Assignment Site Key (ASK) and it has my pending assingment to CP EDERLE reporting 20090727. Is that just a pending assignment like they are trying to get me Italy or will that be my duty station? Also if I have no passport does the Army provide one for me or do I just use my orders to get to Italy or do I need to apply for a passport? I hope that these are my orders because I would love nothing more than to go to Italy!!!!!!!!! That would be ****ing great!! BTW today was the 250 tower and my buddy hit the tower at 100 feet and bounced off and still managed to perform a perfect PLF. The coolest thing I have probably ever seen. Anyways let me know about Ederle if anyone has any info. I appreciate it
While in the Army. Transport to and from Italy, you won't need a passport. If you plan on doing travel outside of Italy, it would be a good idea to have one.
Yeap...it was Italy. You will love it here IF you are not married. tit-ty bars and wh-or-e houses are amazingggggg!!!!!!! lol before you get all bent out of shape...tit-ty bars require zero tipping AND wh-ore-s here are STD tested and look better than any american stripper I have seen to date. LOL im not lying...hopefully you get to see for yourself soon
