Hello all, I am going to MEPS on the 28 and I will be going over my contract at that point, I botched my AFQT and got a 53 with 105 GT and 112 ST scores, I am going in as an 88mike for 6 years initial (AD) and my question is can I get airborne in my contract? It was kind of murky when I asked a few people I know, if I would be able to do that with an 88M MOS, I was told that I could take the pathfinder course, which I am going to do, I would ask my recruiter but seeing that it is almost the end of the fiscal year I know that he is very busy and with my appointments set I know that I will not see him until then and I know that I am not his only hopeful… so I figured I would ask on here, oh and by the by I am 35.. thanks in advance for you help with this…

It's possible. If you want it that bad, you'ld best go talk to your recruiter. None of us can do anything for you.

Thanks azmax64 that is extremely helpful of you, and trust that have tired to ask him but seeing that he is and his cohorts are currently unavailable because of prior oblations, I figured it might be best to ask for advice here, also I am aware that any thing is possible once you put your mind and resolve to it, and not for nothing I am also aware that you can not do anything for me but give advise which is what I am asking for.. You recruiter can make the time to see you. If he doesnt want to help you ask were the Marine recruiter is at. That will respark his interest in talking to you.
